Voter profiling? SC to hear PIL alleging election commission took government help to finalise voters’ list in Andhra Pradesh and Telangana. The PIL alleged that this would result in political elements selectively targeting or excluding them from the voting process. A software used to link voter I-cards with aadhar had led to elimination of two million voters in the two states, it alleged. The supreme court issued notices on the PIL. The high court had earlier rejected it. The PIL has been filed by engineer srinivas kodali.
