New Delhi, Nov 28. The central government has informed the Supreme Court that no one has a fundamental right to convert anyone in this country. The term “propagate” in the right to religion does not envisage the right to convert a person, the government said in response to a plea to ban conversion through force, fraud or coercion. New Delhi, Nov 25. The Supreme Court on Friday issued notices on multiple pleas seeking court nod to allow same sex couples to marry under the Special Marriage Act (SMA). New Delhi, Nov 23. The first plea, seeking a review of a recent ruling which upheld up to 10 per cent quotas for the upper caste poor, was filed in the Supreme Court on Wednesday.
